Government Medical College, Konni is a newly opened government-sponsored medical school located in the Pathanamthitta district (Kerala State) of India. Located near the village of Konni on the picturesque Nedumpara Hill and within the jurisdiction of the Vattamon Panchayat, the school provides an excellent environment conducive to learning. The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and has been accredited by the National Medical Council (NMC) so that its graduates will qualify for practice throughout India.

The college has a multi-speciality teaching hospital attached to it with a bed capacity of 500 which is also a key service provider for Sabarimala pilgrimage seekers. Admission Process 2026, GMC Konni

The Government Medical College in Konni will admit students for the MBBS program based on their NEET-UG 2026 merit ranking through Kerala State Counselling. Students must have first passed NEET-UG which is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and achieved the minimum percentile to qualify for MBBS admission.

After NEET results are published, students that are eligible must register on the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) website, Kerala, for counselling. Students are then able to list GMC as their preferred government medical college when filling out their choices.

Allotment of seats is based on the student's NEET rank, reservation category, student domicile status and the number of seats remaining. Students who receive a seat must report to either the college or designated verification centre with original documents and proof of fee payment in order to complete the admission formalities. Eligibility Criteria
