The Government Medical College, Kamareddy, (KMC) is a fully government-owned medical school that opened its doors to students in the 2020-21 academic year, located in Devanpally Village (Kamareddy District), India. It is part of KNR University of Health Sciences (Warangal) and also has National Medical Commission (NMC) recognition.

GMC Kamareddy offers an MBBS degree through extensive clinical training at the associated teaching hospital (formerly a 330+ bed district hospital). Admission Process 2026, GMC Kamareddy

Admissions to the MBBS Course are based upon the marks achieved in NEET UG and counselling by the Telangana State Government.

Process:

• Step 1: Qualify NEET UG with a valid score.
• Step 2: Register on the Telangana counselling portal (KNRUHS).
• Step 3: Fill & lock in your preferences for colleges that include GMC Kamareddy.
• Step 4: Participate in various counselling rounds (1st round, 2nd round, mop up rounds and stray vacancies).
• Step 5: Download the allotment letter if selected.
• Step 6: Report to the College within the specified time frame.
• Step 7: Complete your eligibility and document verification as well as your fee payments respectively.

Not completing these formalities within the time frame will result in cancellation of the applicant's seat.

1. Must be an Indian citizens or meets domicile rules in the State Of Telangana
2. Pass 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemical science, and Biologic science as well as English language
3. Must receive at least the following percentages in Physics / Chemistry / Biology (Or Combined) courses:
   • i. For General candidates at least 50%
   • ii. For candidates in the "Reserved" Or "PwD" categories based on the norms of NMC.
4. Minimum age of 17 years by 31 December 2026
5. Maximum age of typically 25 years with possible exemptions for reserved categories
6. Must successfully qualify NEET UG and participate in centre-based counselling by KNRUHS.
