About College

The Government Medical College, Hanumangarh was established as part of the government's phase-III initiative to strengthen medical education in the state of Rajasthan. As a brand new premier-state medical facility under the auspices of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, it is now fully operational and has been approved by both the National Medical Commission and Rajasthan University.

The Institution has an annual capacity of 100 MBBS seats. The college is integrated with the local District Hospital (Rajkiya Dist. Hospital) and serves as a critical healthcare and educational centre for the northern most district of Rajasthan.

Fee Structure 2026, GMC Hanumangarh

The Medical College operates as a state run institution and thus all fees are divided according to seat category:

  1. Annual Tuition Fee:
    • Government Seat (State Quota): Approximately Rs. 63,800 per annum
    • Management Seat (Paid seat): Approximately Rs. 8,68,200 per annum
    • NRI Quota Fee: Approximately $35000 USD per annum
  2. Hostel: Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per annum (mess expense not included)
  3. Caution Money: Rs.10,000 (one time refundable deposit at admission)

Admission Process 2026, GMC Hanumangarh

The admission process will be based on NEET UG merit and will follow all of the rules established by the Rajasthan Board for Counselling.

  1. Applicants must qualify in the NEET UG 2026 Exam (which will be held on May 3rd, 2026).
  2. Applicants must register for Counselling on the Rajasthan NEET UG Medical & dental Admissions Site.
  3. Once registered, applicants must select GMC Hanumangarh as one of the schools on their choice filling form during the choice filling period.
  4. There are three separate rounds (or phases) of counselling/seat allotment (Phase 1, Phase 2, and mop up) after which all candidates who have been offered a seat will go to the designated reporting centers for original document verification and payment of tuition fees.
  5. Any candidates who do not report to the college by the deadline set by the board or who cannot pay the required tuition fee will have their application automatically cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for studying an MBBS at GMC Hanumangarh in 2026 include:

  • Candidates must qualify the NEET-UG 2026 exam with the minimum required percentile.
  • Candidates must reach the minimum age limit of 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
  • Candidates must meet the minimum academic qualification of having passed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% for general (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • Candidates that are domiciled in the State of Rajasthan have first preference for 85% of the state quota seats.
