Government Medical College, Anantapur is a Government-run medical institution in Andhra Pradesh. It is also known as GMC Anantapur or GMC Anantapuramu. It was established in 2000 to provide healthcare services and medical education in the Rayalaseema region.
The college is affiliated with the Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and is approved by the National Medical Commission. It offers MBBS (200 seats annually), Postgraduate (MD/MS), Nursing and Paramedical medical programs.

Admission Process 2026, GMC Anantapur
MBBS admission is based only on merit - the score of the qualifying NEET-UG 2026 exam.
Seat allocation : 85% for State quota and 15% for All India Quota
