Government Medical College, Alibag, is the first state medical college in the Raigad district. It started in the 2021–22 school year. We made it to improve medical education and healthcare in the Konkan area of Maharashtra.

The college is linked to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). The National Medical Commission (NMC) approves it. The college gives a clear MBBS course using a skill-based education system.

The Government Hospital (District Civil Hospital, Alibag) is the teaching hospital. You get to learn by working in different medical departments there.
