About College

Father Colombo Institute of Medical Sciences (FCIMS), situated in Warangal Urban, Telangana, is a new private medical college established in 2023. The institute is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) Warangal and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The institution is managed by the Warangal Diocese under Bishop Dr. Udumala Bala. The aim of the college is to combine academic excellence with strong ethical values in the field of medicine science and healthcare. Though it is a new establishment, FCIMS has become very well-known for its modern infrastructure, practical-oriented teaching through its integrated teaching hospital and student-friendly environment.

The campus has a supporting multispeciality hospital -Medicare General Hospital for practical training, modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, residential accommodation for students and support services.

Admission Process 2026, Father Colombo Institute of Medical Sciences

MBBS admission at FCIMS is based entirely on NEET-UG 2026 exam scores and counselling conducted by:

  • Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota
  • Telangana state counselling authority (KNRUHS) for state quota seats

Steps are:

  1. Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required percentile
  2. Register for counselling (MCC or KNRUHS Portal)
  3. Fill in college choices, and select FCIMS, Warangal as preference
  4. Seat allotment is based on rank, category, preference and availability.
  5. After the allotment results are out, the admission fee is to be paid to confirm the seat
  6. Report in-person to the college with all the original / required documents for verification, medical check-up and confirmation of admission.

Any empty seats are filled by multiple counselling rounds including mop-up and stray vacancy.

Eligibility Criteria
