About College

Bangalore’s East Point College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (EPCMSRC) is a private medical college; EPCMSRC was founded in 2017 as a member of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission.

The School is located on a large green campus of 100 acres located at Virgo Nagar, Avalahalli and has a 1000+ bed dedicated Super-Specialty Teaching Hospital that provides an educational and supportive environment for its students to learn in. With 200 MBBS seats available, EPCMSRC places emphasis on strong academics, early introduction to clinical activities, and the all around overall personal development of its students which has allowed EPCMSRC to gain a distinguished reputation as an excellent private medical college in Karnataka.

The College provides its students with the perfect combination of modern facilities throughout the EPCMSRC campus including digital classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, and a state-of-the-art skills lab, along with an attached clinical hospital. This allows students to experience all aspects of a clinical environment while receiving both hands-on experience and a real-world clinical experience during their clinical training.

Fees Structure 2026, EPCMSRC

The fee structure may vary slightly, based on the finalisation of students through the school council each year; however the fee is generally:

  • Private Quota: Approximately Rs. 12 Lakhs per annum
  • Management/NRI Quota: Up to Rs. 36 Lakhs per annum
  • Hostel Charges: Rs. 35,000-Rs. 1.80 Lakh per annum, cost will depend on whether you are in a Single, Double or Triple room. Typically hostel costs will include mess food.

Other Associated Expenses are:

  • One time Caution Deposit: Rs. 10,000-50,000
  • Library Fees: Approximately Rs. 5,000
  • Miscellaneous Academic Expenses: Rs. 20-30,000 per annum.

Final figures are confirmed through Karnataka Examinations Authority during the counselling process.

Admission Process, 2026, EPCMSRC

  1. The admission process for 2026 requires a qualifying NEET UG test through the National Testing Agency and then your KEA registration on-line as soon as you receive your NEET results. 
  2. The KEA will then run a centralized counseling process (mock allotment and choice filling) which will determine if you will receive a seat. 
  3. If you do, you will create a list of preferences of colleges and will be given an allotment letter from KEA. 
  4. You will then need to pay your fees and report to the college for document verification.   
  5. Candidates applying through the Management Quota and the NRI Quota must also qualify for the NEET UG test and then comply with all the KEA application guidelines for their admission.   

There will still be opportunities to fill seats for Management Quota and NRI Quota candidates if there are Stray Round vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Minimum Age: 17 years old as of December 31, 2026 
  2. You must have successfully completed your Grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 
  3. You must have achieved the following minimum percentage of marks in your Grade 12: 
    • General: 50%
    • SC/ST/OBC: 40%
  4. You must qualify for the NEET UG Test. 
  5. You must be a citizen of India, an NRI citizen, or a citizen of another country eligible for OCI/PIO benefits. 
  6. All candidates must register with the KEA in order to participate in the Karnataka Counseling procedure.
