The Chikkamagaluru Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) is a government medical college found in the picturesque town of Chikkamagaluru in Karnataka. CIMS was established in 2022 and has quickly grown into an ideal location for MBBS students that are looking for quality medical education at a very reasonable price.

CIMS is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission. CIMS has a 150 seat MBBS programme, students at CIMS will learn in a new facility on a large campus with a 500 bed teaching hospital.

1. In order to be eligible to apply to this college, a student must pass the National Eligibility Test (NEET) Undergraduate in 2026 prior to going to the university to enroll.
2. To qualify for participation in the Karnataka counseling process, students must register on the KEA website and follow all steps of the counseling process, including selecting CIMS as a choice.
3. Seat allotment will be based on rank, category and availability.
4. Once you receive your Authorization Letter, make payment of fees immediately; you must also bring your original documents for review when you arrive at CIMS.

   • 85% (Approx.) will be to Karnataka State Quota through KEA, for the first round.
