About College
B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College in Sawarda, Ratnagiri, is a private medical college in the scenic village of Sawarda in Ratnagiri in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is known for its academics and vast clinical resources. It has the double advantage of ruralness with modern facilities.
The institute stands on a 44 acre campus with modern infrastructure and facilities. It was founded by Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust in 2015 to provide medical facilities to the regional population.
