About College
The Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS) was founded in 2007 by the Karnataka Government as a reputable Government medical College in Bidar in Kalyana region, Karnataka. The college has a large 130-acre campus, which is located near the historic Bidar Fort around 140 Kilometres from Hyderabad.
BRIMS is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences and is recognised by the National Medical Commission. Over the years, BRIMS has become very successful for providing high-quality medical education at the Government Fee Structure and has a focus on improving health care for the rural and underserved communities.
The college currently has 150 MBBS seats and provides an extensive amount of hands-on clinical exposure to students through its attached 500+ bed district Hospital to provide an enriching clinical experience.
