Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College (BAVMC), Pune, is a medical college that came into existence in 2022 under the Pune Municipal Corporation Medical Education Trust. The main motive behind this initiative was to offer more quality medical education and healthcare services in Pune, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and the National Medical Commission (NMC) has given its nod to the college to conduct the MBBS program for 100 students annually.

Admission Process 2026, BAVMC

Admission to the MBBS programme at BAVMC Pune is entirely based on the candidate's NEET UG result. After getting the NEET UG score, candidates need to participate in the Maharashtra state NEET counselling (via the State Common Entrance Test Cell/MCC) where they register, fill choices, and get seat allotment depending on their rank, category, and preferences. At last, after seat allotment, they do the document verification, payment of fees, and submission of admission after which they are allowed to join the college. 

Eligibility Criteria
