Autonomous State Medical College Society, Ghazipur (also called Maharshi Vishwamitra Autonomous State Medical College) is a government medical institution located in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The college was established in 2021 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to increase access to quality education and healthcare services in the region.

The institute mainly has MBBS medical programs and offers 100 MBBS seats each year i.e. (85% State Quota seats for Uttar Pradesh candidates and 15% All India Quota seats for rest of India candidates).

The institute has an affiliation with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

• Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with required percentile i.e. General/OBC: 50th percentile and SC/ST: 40th percentile.
• Educational qualification: Passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English from a recognised education board and secure minimum aggregate 50% marks in PCB subjects for General/OBC candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Applicants can be Indian citizens, NRIs and OCI/PIOs.

For students who are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh, there are 85% seats reserved for them under the state quota and they are given preference.
