Infrastructure

ASMC Lalitpur has the necessary academic and clinical infrastructure for the education of medical students. The infrastructure of ASMC Lalitpur includes modern lecture halls, laboratories, and a central library with current medical books and journals.

The college also has clinical skill labs specifically designed for students to practice their clinical skills before beginning their clinical training.

The associated Government Hospital with 300 beds provides students with exposure to various departments for the treatment of their patients both in outpatient as well as inpatient settings (e.g. OPD, IPD, Intensive Care Units (ICU), and specialty services). This is an important step for students to gain hands-on experience in the delivery of clinical care to their patients.

The college has extensive recreational facilities for students. There are enough outdoor fields and open areas for students to utilize for recreation and for personal health and wellness.

Hostel & Student Accommodation

The college has enough accommodations for male and female students living in separate hostel buildings on its campus. Each room will accommodate a maximum of either three or four students and will have access to basic amenities such as electricity, water supply, and security.

The hostel will have additional amenities, including:

  • 24-hour security guard and hostel supervisor
  • Mess that will serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food
  • Common recreation room areas
  • Laundry facilities

While many outstation students certainly prefer to live at the hostel, it is generally not mandatory because many students, especially those that live in the immediate vicinity, make their own arrangements.

Other Campus Infrastructure

In addition to the academic facilities, the campus offers many other facilities that will enhance your living experience as a student at the university. Some of these include:

  • Wireless internet access across the entire campus
  • Access to transportation to the nearest train station and bus stop
  • Basic gym and cafeteria
  • Sports fields and recreational areas
  • Academic seminars and cultural events/NSS programs.

The attached hospital implements an onsite clinic for both students and staff.
