Established in 2008 by the Army Welfare Education Society, the Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS)is a well-established medical college. Admission Process 2026, ACMS New Delhi

Admission into the dilapidated Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS), New Delhi, is strictly open only for children of the Indian Army. They have to go through a centralised admissions process, which involves:

  1. Qualifying for NEET UG 2026.
  2. Registering on the GGSIPU admissions portal once the 'Results are declared', this usually happens around the time of June
  3. Submitting the necessary documents, which includes Army category proof (i.e., depending on the category)
  4. Taking part in a centralised counselling process that is being held by GGSIPU
  5. The available seats are allocated according to the NEET rank within each Army category preference
  6. Downloading the allotment letter, making the necessary payment of required fees, and reporting to ACMS
  7. Undergoing document verification followed by physical/examination to assess fitness for military service and for unallocated or unfulfilled seats, the mop-up rounds will occur.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for MBBS at Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, all applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

  1. Children of serving/retired members of the Indian Army, or children of any widow or war widow of a member of the Indian Army.

    • Gen/OBC: 60 per cent or higher
    • SC/ST :  50 per cent or higher
