Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (AIMSR), was established by the Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation in 2015 and is located at Apollo Knowledge & Health City in Murukambattu, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. It covers an area of 108 acres, and is affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission.

The college provides 150 MBBS course seats with a modern infrastructure and exposure to clinical settings. The college is attached with an 850 bed ( with dedicated 410 teaching bed) Government District Hospital in Chittoor where the students can gain clinical training and experience.

AIMSR strives to provide students with quality education, opportunities for research activities, and delivery of healthcare services by utilizing experienced faculty and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Fee Structure 2026, AIMSR Chittoor

The approximate fee structure at AIMSR Chittoor is as follows:

Admission Process 2026, AIMSR Chittoor

Admission to AIMSR is based on the NEET UG score obtained by candidates in the NEET UG entrance test conducted by the NTA.

The process is as follows:

  • Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026
  • Candidates must register for Andhra Pradesh state counselling through Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.
  • The candidate will fill choices and must select AIMSR during the counselling.
  • Seat will be allotted based on the rank, category and choices of the candidate.
  • The candidate must download the allotment letter, after seat allotment.
  • Candidates must report to the college for document verification and fee payment for completion of the admission process.
  • If there are unfilled seats, mop-up rounds will take place to fill them.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate is eligible to apply for MBBS if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria provided below:

  1. Minimum Age: 17 years on or before December 31, 2026.
  2. NEET Result:
    • General / EWS: 50th Percentile
    • SC / ST / OBC: 40th Percentile
    • PwD: 45th Percentile
  3. Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English
  4. Minimum Marks: 50% in PCB for General (40% if in reserved categories)
  5. Eligible candidates to apply include citizens of India and NRIs, however preference may be given to the candidates who are residents of Andhra Pradesh for state quota seats.

The Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR) has constructed modern, well-equipped lecture halls with audio-visual systems and seating for approximately 180 students at its campus.
