About College
Andhra Medical College is one of the oldest and most recognised Government medical institutions in the city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. It is the 6th oldest institution in India.
The institution was established in July 1923 and completed its centenary in 2023. It is affiliated with the Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and is approved by the National Medical Commission. It offers MBBS (250 seats), postgraduate and super-speciality medical programs.
The campus overlooks the Bay of Bengal and is attached to the King George Hospital for practical training for the students. It has modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, residential accommodation for the students, a centenary building and support services.

Admission Process 2026, Andhra Medical College
MBBS admission is based only on merit - the score of the qualifying NEET-UG 2026 exam.
Steps of the Process:
