About College

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar is a Government medical institution in Telangana. It was established in 2019 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) for increasing affordable healthcare services and medical education in the region.

The institution (and all other AIIMS medical institutions) are referred to as Institutes of National Importance, according to the AIIMS Act and function as autonomous bodies under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The campus is spread over 200 acres and houses a multispeciality 750 bed teaching hospital and tertiary care centre, modern academic block, administrative building, AYUSH block, auditorium, research facilities and residential accommodation for students.

The college admits 100 MBBS students each year. The duration of the MBBS program is 5.5 years (4.5 years academics and 1 year internship). It also offers BSc Paramedical and Postgraduate MD//MS medical programs.

It is recognized by the National Medical Commission and is a part of the AIIMS network. It is located on NH-163 Hyderabad-Warangal highway. Yadadri Bhuvanagari in Telangana. The Bibinagar Railway Station is just 2 km away and there are regular bus services from Hyderabad, making it easily accessible.
