All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur is one of the best medical and research schools in the government established under the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences Act. It is part of the high-quality medical education, patient care and research network known as AIIMS. The institute became part of AIIMS Phase IV expansion around India and began regular training from 2018-19.

In the meantime, AIIMS Nagpur is developing clinics and educational programs, and has a multi-specialty hospital that facilitates training and care delivery until its permanent campus is fully operational. In recent years, the institute added new research and service capabilities, including an ART centre, an ID-NAT lab and a new research and service center.

MBBS Programme (Undergraduate) Overview

• Degree: Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
• Duration: 5.5 years (4.5 academic + 1 year internship).
