Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) originated in 1912. It rose to the level of a ‘Priority Development University’ of Zhejiang Province recently which is a consequential event. The Clinical Medicine, Chemistry, Pharmacology & Toxicology Programs of WMU feature among the world’s top 1% in ESI ratings. SAUWMU or Student Association Union of WMU provides “…service with management, focus on association service, and bring with guidance, coordination and supervision, and organize various activities that are beneficial to the students…” WMU has 3 campuses, the main campus is Chashan. WMU is known for its elaborate involvement with sports. The Sports center at the main campus is spectacular in itself. It is huge with every amenity imaginable. The dormitories are spacious and comfortable. Every effort is made by SAUWMU to make the International incumbents feel comfortable.

The dormitory at Wenzhou Medical University caters for a comfortable and convenient living experience of the students. At the ground floor of the dormitory, you’ll find electronic doors which unlock only when you tap your University card on them. Yes, each student is provided with a card to enable their entry into the dorm. There are also security guards present at the entrance for better safety. There are also vending machines available on the ground floor if you want to grab some quick snacks or beverages. Moving ahead, there are elevators to reach the desired floor. On a side note, the rooms have double as well as triple occupancy which means you’d be having a roommate as well. Speaking of the interior of the room; there are beds, study tables, wardrobes, mattresses, balcony, attached toilet, etc. Moreover, each corridor is outfitted with a kitchen and a laundry, thus making it convenient for students to carry out their chores of cooking and washing.
