The University of Messina, or UniME, located in Messina, Sicily, Italy. It was founded in 1548. It's among Italy's oldest universities and one of Europe's ancient educational institutions. UniME comprises 12 departments and offers a wide range of educational programs, including over 80 graduate and undergraduate degrees, more than 20 master's degrees, and 13 PhD programs, with 7 of them being taught in English. The university is home to over 23,000 students and spans across four campus facilities within the city.

Hostel and facilities
Living in a student residence hall is a good choice for students because it's close to the university and other students. But there are only a limited number of rooms available. The University of Messina provides a student residence hall on the Annunziata campus. This residence hall offers double rooms for sharing and comes with several features, such as spacious rooms with natural light and ventilation, attached toilets and bathrooms, study tables and chairs, 24-hour electricity and water supply, a water cooler, common telephone, and a common TV room. However, that rooms are limited for foreign students and visitors, and the assignment of rooms is subject to availability.
