Southeast University Medical College (SEUMC) is the center of Medical learning of the Southeast University in China that is located in Central Business District (CBD) of Nanjing. The origin of this Medical College may be traced back to 1935. It is a well-known fact that during these almost 9 decades, SEUMC has produced brilliant doctors who have served mankind well. Many of them have been educators par excellence. SEUMC is known to provide a unique learning experience to its students and it is not solely because of pedagogy but also due to the socio-cultural environment that the Medical College seeks to maintain. To quote the official website ‘Located on the side of elegant Xuanwu Lake in CBD of Nanjing, the campus of the college is quiet and graceful, having unique scenery & environment.’ With more than 300 international students on campus, the SEUMC is indeed secure and even popular among others. The Medical College of Southeast University is located in the Dingjiaqiao campus which is in the city of Nanjing. The entire campus is strewn with brilliant architecture. The infrastructure is remarkably unique. The University has a well-developed students’ services wing.

Rooms are provided to students at Southeast University on dual sharing basis, i.e. 1 room is shared by 2 students. Likewise, facilities are provided in order to suit the requirements of 2 students. The rooms are furnished with 2 beds, 2 study tables, 2 wardrobes, etc. Another feature of the room is you get a balcony with a sliding door which can be utilized in so many ways. You can hang your wet clothes to dry them, or you can use it to store your luggage or apparently enjoy the beautiful view you get from the balcony. Air conditioning as well as heating facility is available which you can avail as per requirement. Besides furnished rooms, wash area and kitchen are also provided to students. The cost for using the washing machine is very inexpensive. Inside the kitchen, you can find induction stove so you can cook your own food. Anyway, the canteen is nearby your hostel building so you can have meals there also. There aren’t many choices for vegetarians in the canteen menu while non-vegetarians can choose from so many options form the menu. Hence, you may choose to cook your own food if you’re a vegetarian. To facilitate your choice, the University has got a grocery store within the campus premises so you can fetch fresh veggies and other essentials easily.
