About University
Counted amongst the ancient higher education institutes in Russia, Pirogov Russian National research is well-known university. Recently, in the year 2016 the university celebrated its 110th anniversary. In addition to this, it was the first university which provided the opportunity to educate women. Also, it was the first institute to establish the faculty of pediatrics. At present, the University is serving as a scientific, educational and medical center which is rendering educational programs at all levels in biomedicine, clinical medicine social work, psychology and pharmacy.

With over 11500 professional students and post grads (out of which 8300 are students of high medical school), Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow has actively involved it in the development of a system of accreditation of specialists and continuing professional education to medical activities. Furthermore, it has 700 international students and more than 12000 participants of events for prospects. Substantially, it also lays special emphasis to pre-university training and for the search of talented applicants from all across the globe. Not only this but it also provide a wide range of activities to its students that include a weekly lecture hall, summer school in medicine, preparatory courses ( in both English as well as Russian language) and exceptionally good master classes.

Hostel & Facilities
The accommodation facilities at the Russian NRM University consist of hostels. There are shared rooms available in the hostel. These rooms fulfill the basic requirements such as individual beds, study tables, wardrobes, etc as per room occupancy. Also, each floor of the hostel building has different blocks. In each block, there are 2 rooms with a shared bathroom and toilet. Every floor has one kitchen which is used by all the students living on a respective floor. There are strict rules for living in the hostel which one must adhere to. The hostel premise is guarded by CCTV cameras and security guards. Besides, other facilities include library, sports facilities, etc. The library at Russian NRM University has over 7 lakh books. The sport center is equipped with facilities for various sports such as basketball, football, tennis, etc. In case you do not want to cook by yourself, you can easily have meals at the Indian restaurants located at a short distance from the University. The hostel building is also located within close proximity to the University main building which facilitates access of students to the lecture hall, labs, etc.
