About University
"Commonly known as LNMU, Danylo Halytskyl Lviv National Medical University is amongst the biggest and oldest medical universities in Ukrainian region. In addition to this, it has achieved 4th level of accreditation and is one of the leading universities in Lviv. Back in 2009, it completed 225 years of its foundation. It offers admission in the stream of General medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry. In addition to this, it provides preparatory courses and post graduate programs. Furthermore, it has 78 university departments, Central research laboratory, Institute of clinical pathology, 134 doctors of sciences and 1211 scientists working in the Laboratory of industrial toxicology."

About Campus life
The University has students from all across the world. The annual intake is close to 19 thousand students out of which more than 5 thousand are undergrads and one thousand of them are foreign students. The campus life is affected by this. Here, festivals of different countries are celebrated with requisite grandeur. This transpires as a great opportunity for the students to understand the culture of various part of the world. Holi, Diwali, Independence day also celebrated by the students in the University. The Bank is available within the campus of the university whereas Superstore at a walk-able distance for your all daily needs.

Hostel and facilities
Lviv National Medical University has multiple hostels with various facilities offered to the Students. Hostels are near to the University campus and well connected via public transport. Hostels are common for Boys and girls both like any other European country. Warden is available in the hostel round the clock. All hostels are also under surveillance by CCTV.
Students can choose the hostel and room category like twin or triple sharing room based on their budget, as the hostel fee varies based on no of sharing or room’s condition, as a twin sharing renovated room will cost you more in comparison to triple sharing or non renovated room. Every room has a separate Bed, Wardrobe and Study table for each student sharing the room. There are separate washrooms with every two room's unit. University takes care of the cleaning of common areas and Kitchen, cleaning of the room is the student's responsibility. There is a separate laundry area where the students can wash their clothes.
Every hostel has a common kitchen with facilities like a Microwave oven, Fridge & Electric cook-top, However, you have to use your own utensils for the cooking. For those who don't want to cook themselves, Indian food is also delivered in the hostel by multiple Indian restaurants at the cost of 100-120 USD per month.
