Jilin University (JLU) was founded in 1946 and is located in Changchun. It is a National Research Institution directly under Ministry of Education, China. In Chinese terms, they say, JLU is a Chinese Ministry of Education ‘Class A Double First Class’ University. You must be getting the feel. Indeed, JLU is a great MBBS Abroad destination as it has always been designated as one of the most prestigious Medical Universities in China. Recently, in 2017 to be precise, the ‘Double First Class University’ Plan by China has awarded “world-class academic status” to JLU. About Campus life
The campus life in JLU is equally enchanting. The sprawling campus is rich in scenic beauty. There are huge gardens where the students lounge around. The campus has a lake called Qing lake with sitting space for students. The Backstreet Delicacy City is a happening spot where you can satiate your taste buds with fancy food. The Cultural activities are conducted in a way that all the diversity in the campus maybe addressed to. There are more than 50 multimedia and language learning audio-visual classrooms. There is a Geological Museum in the campus. The Library is a multi-storied establishment with a collection of more than 7 million books.

The facilities provided at Jilin University begin with the hostel accommodation. The rooms of the hostel can be described as comfortable and cozy. They come with amenities like beds, study tables, wardrobe, etc. Winters can be a bit harsh in the region so heaters are installed in every room. You can have your meals at the canteen which caters both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Otherwise, Indian restaurants are available right outside the University. You can prepare your own meals at the kitchen inside the hostel. Kitchen is equipped with an induction stove and microwave and you must buy your own utensils for cooking the food. A sport center is situated in the University so that students can look after their fitness goals as well. There are basketball court, football field, running tracks, etc.
