The University of Gibraltar, established in 2015, is a public, not-for-profit institution of higher education located in Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory on the southern coast of Spain. The University aims to create an institution of excellence in teaching, learning, and research. The University received its degree-awarding powers in 2017, making it the first and only institution in Gibraltar.
The University of Gibraltar (UniGib) has six research centers as- Natural Sciences and Environment, Business and Management, History and Culture, Education, Gaming, and Health and Sport Sciences. The University of Gibraltar is committed to providing high-quality education and promoting research and innovation.
One of the main features of the University of Gibraltar is its small size, which allows a high level of individualized attention for students. Besides this, the University aims to create a strong focus on sustainability and has implemented several initiatives to facilitate its environmental impact.
