Admission Process 2026, Prafulla Chandra Sen Government Medical College & Hospital

In order to gain admission to an MBBS program, students must qualify through the NEET-UG exam.

  1. Students will register and participate in the NEET-UG exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  2. Students must obtain a passing score on the NEET-UG examination.
  3. Students will then participate in counselling:
    • 15% of seats are allotted through the All India Quota through MCC.
    • 85% of seats are allotted through West Bengal state counselling.
  4. Students will complete online registration and enter college preferences.
  5. Students must select PCSGMCH as a college preference.
  6. Students will monitor allotment status.
  7. If awarded admission to PCSGMCH, students will take documents for verification and pay the required fees.
  8. Mop-Up and Stray Rounds will be held at the end of each counselling round for unfilled seats. Check official notifications for dates and instructions.

At this time we only have a DNB programme, and we have recently begun to teach DNB, however, the primary course at the time being taught at this college is the MBBS course only.
