About College
Midnapore Medical College and Hospital in Midnapore is a respected government medical school founded in 2004 when the mid-19th century Sadar Hospital was upgraded to a full medical institution. That's now known as the Midnapore Medical College and Hospital (MMCH). MMCH is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Each year, MMCH has 200 MBBS seats available and is known for its excellent academic atmosphere, emphasis on research and clinical training, as well as community health care.
