About College

KVG Medical College (also known as Kariyamma Venkappa Gowda Medical College), established in 1999 by KVG Education Society, has its campus located at Kurunjibag, Sullia, in Dakshina Kannada District (Around 50 Kms from Mangalore).

The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and also recognized by the National Medical Commission.

This College is run by the Jain Community as a private minority institute.

Each academic year the College admits 150 students in MBBS programme and is associated with a state-of-the-art 1000 bedded Teaching Hospital which provides Services for students who will undergo early Clinical Exposure to many departments including Orthopaedics, Cardiology, General Medicine and Surgery.

The College itself is situated on a sprawling 40+ acre green campus which provides a tranquil environment for learning; strict emphasis has been placed on Ethics, Research and Hands-On Patient Care thus providing NEET aspirants with a balanced approach towards their medical training.

The fees for the MBBS Course are as follows:

  1. Through Government Quota (via KEA): Between Rs.16 lakh to Rs.18 lakh per annum.
  2. Through the Management Quota: Between Rs.22 lakhs to Rs.25 lakhs per annum.
  3. Through NRI Quota: Generally over Rs.30 lakhs per annum.
  4. Through Government Quota, the total cost of the MBBS Course for 5.5 years is generally between Rs.85 lakh and Rs.90 lakh; this is subject to yearly increases.
  5. In addition to the yearly fees, the following are the other expenses that will be incurred:

Admission Process 2026, K V G Medical College Sullia

  1. Qualify for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, achieving the required percentile.
  2. Register for Karnataka's State Counseling conducted through KEA (or OUT of State Counselling for AIQ/NRI seats)
  3. Choose KVG Medical College during the option Entry Process.
  4. The KEA will conduct at least three 3 rounds of seat allotments (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up).
