Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital - Bhagalpur (JLNMC) was founded by the Bihar State Government in 1971 and is currently affiliated with the University of Health Sciences, Bihar and is also a member of the National Medical Council.
JLNMC is widely recognised as one of the premier government medical colleges in Bihar. It has been an educational institution providing superior quality education and healthcare services for many years. JLNMC grants a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and has an admission capacity of 120 students for the MBBS course every year. Besides, it offers various postgraduate training courses, which are all conducted on its large campus at Mayaganj.
Along with theoretical learning, the JLNMC local multi-speciality hospital serves as a centre for clinical work experience for the MBBS students. JLNMC stands for the support and promotion of research, new ideas and practical training of the medical students. Admission Process 2026, JLNMC Bhagalpur
The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Bhagalpur will choose new MBBS students based on how well they do in their NEET UG exam.
