Admission Process 2026
Admission to Barasat Government Medical College is obtained by following these four steps:
- You must sit the NEET UG exam, which is administered by NTA.
- After taking the test, you can participate in the counselling process; you will have two ways to do this:
- The all-India quota (15%) via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)
- The state quota (85%) via the counselling authority of the West Bengal State
- To ensure you have a seat, you must fill out and lock-in your choice during counselling rounds.
- Once you are given a seat, you must report to the college with the appropriate documents and payment to confirm your admission.
