The Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital is a government-funded university in West Bengal, India founded by the Bankura Sammilani Trust. The college has been providing health care since 1956 and continues to offer exceptional medical education through both its urban and rural health training centres located at its two campuses: Lokepur and Gobindanagar.
The college is affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission, ensuring that its MBBS degree is valid across India.

Admission Process 2026, Bankura Sammilani Medical College
The basis for admission to the MBBS programme is dependent upon passing the NEET-UG 2026 National Eligibility Test for Medical Studies.

Infrastructure
The Bankura Sammilani Medical College has developed its campuses in Lokepur and Gobindanagar as strong infrastructures for its various fields of medicine. The two campuses feature many facilities including teaching, laboratory, and many fields of medicine, such as psychiatry.
