As an International student, you are allowed to work 20 hours a week as a part-time job. While studying in Ireland, an International student can work as long as you are enrolled in a university. As a postgraduate student, you are allowed to stay in Ireland for 2 years, and undergraduate students for 3 - 4 years. This enables the students to look for jobs or become self-employed. Furthermore, the students must obtain the Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) as soon as they arrive in Ireland.
