There are a total of 23 medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh including AIIMS Bhopal. There are total 3,585 MP medical college seats to which students can apply for admission. Of these, total government colleges amount to 14 whereas the rest i.e. 9 of them are private medical colleges. The MBBS seats in government medical college in MP 2021 are 2,135 and private medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh offer 1,450 seats. Under the government supervision, as many as 12 medical colleges were established in Madhya Pradesh in the last 15 years under the initiative to have one medical college in each district.

The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh is responsible for conducting State counseling for allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical College under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Kerala. The MBBS Madhya Pradesh eligibility 2021 :

The procedure to apply for admission commences with filling the MP MBBS admission form. The application form is provided on the official MP MBBS admission portal, i.e. website of Directorate of Medical Education, MP. At the time of filling the MP MBBS admission online application form, the candidate shall enter his/her personal details, contact details, academic details, NEET UG details, etc. Moreover, the candidate must ensure all the details provided by him/her in the MP MBBS admission online application form are correct. Here is a step by step approach to fill the MP MBBS application form.
1. Go to the official website of Directorate of Medical Education, MP
2. You must go through the MP MBBS admission registration on the official MP MBBS admission portal i.e.
website of Directorate of Medical Education, MP and start filling the MP MBBS admission online application form using the roll number and password.
3. First set of details include the candidate’s personal details such as name, father’s and mother’s name, date of birth, gender, etc.
4. Next set of details include contact details through which the candidate can get notified of any developments in DME MP online counseling 2021.
5. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Upon entering the OTP, the candidate can create a new password.
6. After successfully entering the aforementioned details, the candidate shall head to the next step and begin filling his domicile,
category and academic details such as candidate’s scores in 12th standard, subjects studied, result, etc.
7. The candidate should now save the details and head towards uploading essential documents. The list of documents can be found under the ‘Documents required’ section.
8. The final step is to pay a certain amount that goes towards MP MBBS admission application form fee.
The amount to be paid as application fee is INR 970. After paying the required amount, the candidate has successfully applied for the MP MBBS admission.
9.Now take a printout of the registration receipt of the MP MBBS admission and keep it for future reference.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET (UG) 2021 examination on Sunday, 12th September, 2021 in pen & paper mode. NEET-2021 Exam was delayed due to second wave of COVID-19.
