There are 5 hostel buildings located in Zaphorizhzhia State Medical University; 3 of them are especially for international students. The 5 hostel buildings altogether have the capacity to accommodate as many as 3,000 students. The hostel buildings are modern and the rooms can be availed on solo as well as sharing basis (Double sharing and triple sharing). The hostel rooms have all the facilities from beds to wardrobes to mattresses to pillows to blankets. Moreover, the hostel number 1 has an Indian cultural center. The hostels are equipped with video surveillance. Furthermore, the hostel premises are daily patrolled by the Hostel warden accompanied by security officials. 0

The University imparts as much importance to sport and leisure activities as it does to academic learning. Physical training classes are conducted throughout the curriculum of medical studies. In the same pursuit, the University has a sport complex as well. There is also a stadium located in close proximity to the academic building and students’ hostel. At the stadium, there are sections dedicated to field athletics, a football field, a sports ground for handball, basketball and volleyball. To further add to the list of sports facilities, the University offers 3 gyms, 1 swimming pool, tennis court, a space for indoor games, shooting range, etc. Besides impressive sports facilities, there are facilities of students’ societies and clubs involving different activities which the students can join as per their interests and hobbies. The clubs are majorly involved in dance and music activities.
