Sapienza University of Rome is one of the world's oldest universities, founded way back in 1303. It's not only the oldest university in Rome but also the biggest in all of Europe. This prestigious university is right in the heart of Rome, close to the city center. It has 11 faculties, including a special school for advanced studies and another for aerospace engineering. With a total of 58 departments, which include two university hospitals and a teaching hospital, Sapienza University is all about creating a society that values knowledge.
