Just as the academics, the students of North Bengal Medical College show keen interests in extracurricular activities as well. The activities the students are mainly indulged in are activities related to sports, culture and literature. Therefore, to keep up with the students’ expectations, the college organizes various events by virtue of giving the students an opportunity to showcase their talent and develop equally in both academic and non academic terms. Nonetheless, being a discipline as challenging and unique as medicine, the college takes special care about students’ learning and thus, has its very own library so the students can browse through a wide range of books and journals and study comfortably. 

There are hostel provisions at North Bengal Medical College for students of all social and economic background and students from a foreign country as well. The hostel fulfills the basic needs of the students and provides them with bedding facilities (Bed, mattress, pillow, blankets, etc.) and storage facilities (wardrobes and cupboards) and study tables and chairs. Thus, the students can comfortably lead a decent lifestyle whilst studying at the North Bengal Medical College.
