"Renowned as the center of science, education and culture, Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy is located in the main industrial area of Ukraine, Called Dnieper. Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy is counted amongst the oldest higher educational institutes and is currently having 4th level of accreditation in Ukraine. Established on 15th September, 1916, it has 646 teachers working out of which 359 are candidates of medical sciences and 98 are doctors of medical sciences.
In addition to this, Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy has created a scientific society that has surgical, orthopedic, theoretical, therapeutic, trauma and pediatric sessions."

About Campus life
"Honestly speaking, Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy is the only university in the entire Ukrainian region which renders training to the students in all of the 7 faculties and preparatory department. The 7 faculties are:
1. Management of public health
2. General medicine
3. Pediatrics
4. Nursing
5. Pharmacy
6. Preparatory faculty for foreign citizens
7. Post graduate education
Till date, the university has trained over 49k dentists, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and bachelors. Currently, 4500 students are enrolled here in Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy and out of this 700 are foreign students in Ukraine (from 36 countries). Since last 10 years it has trained 1000 international specialists that too from over 30 countries, globally."

Hostel and facilities
The international students get guaranteed accommodation from the institute. There are further different modes of accommodation: solo as well as sharing. The hostels are huge and have capacity to accommodate as many as 2800 students at once. The international students are provided exclusive accommodation in hostels numbered 1, 5 and 7. The rooms are well organized with bedding facilities, storage units, study desk and chairs, etc. Other facilities that student enjoy include central heating system, internet access, suitable lighting, etc. The Institute further brings ease of convenience with shops and supermarkets located within the University premise. For meals, the students may cook their own food in the kitchen allocated to each hostel room, or simply enjoy freshly cooked meals at the Institute’s cafés and canteens.
