Ningxia Medical University has in-campus accommodation facilities. There are hostel buildings where students can stay throughout their curriculum at the University. Some of the compelling reasons to prefer University hostel accommodation are the excellent safety features, close proximity to the learning center, utilities like kitchen and laundry available easily at your disposal, etc. Our approach towards the hostel begins at the entrance of the hostel. In order to get yourself in the hostel, the administration allots you a card which you must tap to unlock the gate of the hostel. Apparently, no outsiders are allowed inside the infrastructure and if you have an acquaintance coming with you who does not belong to the University in any way, they must seek permission from the hostel warden who will then enable him/her to enter the premises. There are 2 modes of reaching your floor in the hostel: via the staircase or via the elevator. Moving in to your room, you’re greeted by a big space with so many utilities. A bit of an intrusion: the rooms are available on double sharing basis. The rooms are furnished by beds, study tables, wardrobes, cabinets, etc. Even though you’ve a pair of the above items since your roommates would need them too, the room yet doesn’t go any short on the space and you’ve the freedom to fit in more articles too as some students do. You can fit in a mini refrigerator, oven, kettle, etc. to utilize this space to its fullest. You and your roommate have an attached washroom in your room as well. There are facilities of kitchen and wash area available on each floor which adds to the comfort of cooking your own meal and conveniently washing your clothes respectively.
