At present there are more than 46,000 students enrolled in the Federal University of Kazan out of which 2106 are international students from 90 different countries. In addition to this, Kazan Federal University offers 486 academic programs from which 23 academic programs are taught in English language. There are over 3000 faculty members and 194 cooperation agreements from 54 distinct countries.

Hostel and facilities
The hostels of Kazan Federal University are dedicated to provide a comfortable stay to its students. For this, it has 20 student dormitories and students can stay on twin sharing and triple sharing basis. In addition to this, each room has a kitchen, a bathroom, essentials for cooking and a refrigerator. Every hostel has 4 lady wardens and 24X7 CCTV surveillance which ensure the safety and security of the students! However, there are separate hostels for girls and boys here at Kazan Federal University.
Furthermore, the hostel premises include Xerox shops, Barber shop, café, grocery stores and ATMs. Also, there are canteens at the hostel which provide every kind of food. Moreover, there are fully equipped libraries at the hostels with over 1, 00,000 books.
