Hebei MU was previously known as Beiyang Med School and was established in 1894. So, this University is almost 130 yrs old and has always been among the best ranked Medical Universities in China. In 2016, Hebei MU was taken up by Ministry of Education, National Health & Family Planning Commission and Hebei Province for joint support and Hebei MU went way ahead in its path to excellence. Hebei MU has strung teaching, research and healthcare services beautifully together in an exemplary balance. Hebei MU has 5 affiliated hospitals, 14 colleges & 18 UG majors. About Campus life
Hebei MU enrolls International students and the practice started long back. On the campus, we find students from the US, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, the UK & of course, India. There are over 400 international students at Hebei MU at any given time. The campus, therefore, is of international standards, lacking in none of the amenities. The excellent lodging and eating facilities are quite well known. Also, the campus is bustling with cultural and sports activities almost all year round proving to be a great portal for international exposure,

At Hebei Medical University, you can expect nothing short of a comfortable and convenient mode of accommodation. The students avail the hostel rooms which are packed with utilities. The rooms are occupied on a sharing basis so you’d have roommates too. Inside the room, there is study table accompanied by personal wardrobe and cabinets. Above the study table, you’ve your bunk bed furnished with mattresses and pillows. Besides, the room has an attached washroom and bathroom. During winter season, you get the benefit of heater installed inside your room. The room also has a large window which is enclosed by metal railing. These railings can be utilized for drying your clothes after getting them washed from the laundry located on your floor only. You even have a kitchen available on each floor of the hostel building. There are induction stove and oven provided in the kitchen while the students must bring their own utensils to cook. Hence, you can easily cook Indian food at the kitchen. On a side note, if you plan to cook by yourself, do not forget to shop spices and other commodities from India only as although spices are available in the Hebei province, they’re generally put up for a relatively higher cost. Anyway, even if you do not have any culinary skills in you, do not worry since the University has a mess where Indian food is available. Moreover, the quality of the food is top-notch as affirmed by many Indian students already studying at this University.
