About University
The Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University today stands on the same ground on which a craft school was established by the Decree of the Emperor in 1862. Since then, the geographical location witnessed many educational institutions until in 1996 that marked the establishment of Black Sea National University. Black Sea National University is an opportunity for students to study at one of the best universities in southern Ukraine. In 2000, the University received the status of ‘State’ (State University) and in 2016; it was granted the status of a ‘National University’ in Ukraine.
Mykolaiv is a city of southern Ukraine. Mykolaiv is known to be the center of ship building of the Black Sea. Not just shipyards but there are research centers located in the city as well that specializes on the craft of shipbuilding. The city’s climate is moderately continental and city experiences mild winters and hot summers.

About Campus life
Besides learning, students have the opportunity to utilize their leisure time in sport activities like basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, athletics, swimming and many more. Not only does engaging in sport relieve stress and keep one physically fit, it instill within the students qualities like team work & focus and helps them build better relationship with their peers. Other than learning and sport activities, the students spend, rather invest time in participating in cultural activities and festivals which enable them to learn a different culture and bring forth many unforgettable experiences.

Hostel and facilities
There are 3 hostels provided by the University for students. The hostels are located in a suitable place with the University campus in close proximity and facilities of supermarkets, shops, etc. nearby. The rooms are specifically designed so the students living there can live as well as study comfortably. They hostel is inclusive of bedding facilities, storage facilities, table and chairs for studying, etc.
Moreover, the rooms can be availed on a sharing basis; the student may opt for a double sharing or a triple sharing room. To facilitate learning and communication with parents, friends and closed ones, the hostel premise has Wi-Fi facility available round the clock.
