As per the NMC draft published on 28th Dec 2022 for NExT Exams guideline, NExT will be conducted in two steps, Step-1 will be MCQ and Computer Based Test (CBT) after. The test will comprise 6 papers, a candidate has to score 50% on each paper. Step 2 will be pass/ Fail. NExT will be a clinical, Patient simulation-based Exam whereas FMGE is a theory-based Exam.
